Combat trousers in NyCo Ripstop with stretch inserts and knee pad pockets

Crawling, kneeling, climbing stairs at a run: combat trousers take the load first at the knees, seat and crotch. The Vanguard Combat Trousers from Direct Action are made of NyCo Ripstop, reinforced with Cordura 500D at the knees. 4-way stretch inserts in the crotch, seat and behind the knees give freedom of movement where a rigid fabric would hold you back.

Pockets and adjustment

The front pockets close with zips and have an internal organizer, and the hip pockets have reinforced edges. Thigh and calf pockets close with hook-and-loop; according to the manufacturer, the thigh pockets can be used as an improvised dump pouch. The reinforced knee areas are built as insert pockets for protective pads. Knee circumference and leg cuffs are adjusted with hook-and-loop, and the main closure is a zip and hook-and-loop.
