SOURCE Tactical Gear was founded in 1989 by Yoki Gill and Daniel Benoziliyo under SOURCE Vagabond Systems Ltd. Headquartered in Tirat Carmel, Israel, the company employs over 200 people.
For more than 25 years, SOURCE has supplied the Israel Defense Forces and expanded internationally across military and tactical sectors. Its product range includes tactical backpacks, hydration systems such as bladders and hydration packs, ballistic textiles, and both soft and hard armor plates — all designed and manufactured in Israel.
Technological highlights include innovations like the Widepac closure, Glass-Like film, and GrungeGuard antimicrobial treatment, widely integrated into hydration systems. SOURCE also developed the Virtus Soldier System under contract from the UK Ministry of Defence.
